No effect if enemy doesn’t use Fuel E.

Oil Slick

51% chance to cancel enemy Accel or Top Speed.

+2 Fuel Economy, -1 Brakes while active

Turbo cars: Immune to instant mode.

49% chance to affect -1 your own stats negatively.

Traffic Police

Cancels opponent’s next variable choice.

While equipped, opponent pays +1 MP to use any Instant or Equipment gadget.

PoS: Instant costs 1 less MP.

Randomly cancels one of the opponent's variables (Acceleration, Max. Vel, Brakes, or Fuel E.) for this round.

Speed Radar

Disable all Nitro effects this round. If the opponent used Max , deal +1 FP.

While equipped, opponent’s Nitro effects deal –1 FP.

If your car is Layer 2, you may peek at opponent’s stat before declaring yours.

If opponent didn’t use Nitro this round, you lose 1 FP.

Spike Strip

Inflicts 3 FP if enemy used Max. Vel this round.

While active, enemy’s Max Vel is permanently reduced by  2 (no lower than 1). If they declare Max. Vel, they also lose 1 FP.

P2P: Reduces enemy Acceleration by 1 while equipped.

Lose 1 FP if you declare Max. Vel while this is equipped.

Brake Fluid

Reduces incoming Brakes damage by 50% this round.

Recover 1 FP each time you use Brakes.

PoW: Also grants +1 Accel while active

If you declare Acceleration while equipped, lose 1 FP.

Protocol Shift

Swap opponent’s protocol for current round.

While equipped, you may choose at the start of each round to play with your protocol or the opponent’s.

Genesis Block: You may ignore this gadget’s cost (pay 0 MP).

If both players already share the same protocol -1FP.

GPS Jammer

Name a variable. If the opponent chooses that variable this round, cancel it and deal 2 FP.

While equipped, the opponent must reveal their chosen variable before you declare yours

Layer 2: No penalty if your guess is wrong

If you guess wrong, you lose 2 FP.
